Pastor of St. Paul's

 

"Pastor Matt" Has served as the interim Pastor for St  Paul's, August 2021-December 2024. Recently, Pastor Matt has been assigned as Pastor of our historic congregation.

Pastor Matt Lash is a 1978 graduate of Oakland University, Rochester MI and 1982 graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. He received his Master of Divinity and was certified by the faculty for Parish ministry. Pastor Matt has been recognized for his Biblical, relevant and inspiring preaching. He is gifted in youth ministry, parish visitation, and teaching the scriptures to teens and adults. He has led over 50 youth retreats in his 42 years of parish ministry.

Pastor Matt and his wife Marsha will celebrate their 42nd wedding anniversary in 2024. The Lash's have two children, Jennifer (Brett) and Matthew Ryan. Pastor Matt and Marsha are blessed with two grandchildren, Brooklyn and Charlize. 

Pastor Matt and Marsha enjoy traveling, cruising, the Detroit Tigers and the Atlanta Braves.
